Flourish Financial Life Planning
Laura, Founder of Flourish Financial Life Planning, needed a website to help her establish trust, credibility, and engagement with her audience. Laura’s primary objectives were clear: design an aesthetically appealing website that reflects her unique personality and establish a distinct and cohesive visual brand identity to set Flourish apart in a competitive market.
Discovery and Strategy
We began the project with a discovery workshop to understand Laura's business and marketing goals, her brand personality, and her target audience. We also explored different lead generation strategies for Laura, including email marketing, lead magnets, and website contact forms.
Brand Definition
Our first step was to create a refined and artistic website design that maintained Laura’s professional image. We wanted to bring the essence of her garden (Flourish) theme to life in a stylish yet understated manner, avoiding an overdone floral design. Building upon Laura's established brand voice and tone guidelines, we created visual brand guidelines to complement her unique identity. We began by exploring website styles that matched Laura's desired look and feel, and then we conducted a competitor analysis to strategically position Laura's brand and website in her industry. The culmination was a comprehensive Brand Book, featuring a carefully curated color palette, font specifications, logo, and key design elements.
Content Writing
The goal of our content creation was to motivate and inform women, empowering them to make intelligent financial decisions. Our primary objective was to strike a balance between a sophisticated, visually pleasing website and a platform that conveys a strong, empowering message about financial literacy for women.
Design and Development
With the help of the Brand Book, we designed and developed Laura's site in WordPress. Because Laura's personal approach and caring style are integral to her business, we decided to do a photoshoot with Laura instead of using stock imagery. The site features a newsletter signup, blog, services menu, testimonials, and contact form, all in one beautiful, user-friendly interface.
